Louis XV Style Tulipwood Commode with Inlay
c.1880 – 1890, France
A very beautiful Louis XV Style Tulipwood Commode with inlay and ornamentations of Gilt Bronze. The original marble top is mottled rouge of serpentine profile which sits above three floral inlaid veneer drawers, the sides similar, having hipped cabriole legs, gilt bronze mounts and sabots.
A lovely example of late 19th century craftsmanship. Comes with keys.
