Antique Wilhelm Schiller & Son Majolica Urn (W.S. & S.)
A stunning rare, large piece of antique Wilhelm Schiller Majolica Urn in a truly unique form. The background of this Schiller piece is of a matte-finished taupe, light gray and turquoise, with glazed surface features in shades of black. The vase is raised on a pedestal, which is supported on a round base with decorated winged dragon handles. A highly desirable piece which will only continue to increase in value.

Fun Fact: Wilhelm Schiller began production of porcelain and earthenware in Bodenbach, Bohemia in 1829. In 1885, the firm was dissolved and renamed Wilhelm Schiller and Son and remained in operation until the onset of World War I and were the most prolific of the Bohemian manufacturers of majolica.
Note: Sold As Is. Minor chip off the tip of one dragon wing (picture provided). It is in excellent condition and very decorative.
