ABOUT THE BRAND

Danielle Rusko is the Founder and Principal of The Find Antiques. Although an enthusiast of Art and History from an early age, (which is a maternal hereditary trait dating back to her ancestors during the 16th and 17th centuries) Danielle’s career path began in Accounting, Credit Management and conclusively in the Corporate Finance sector. After a change of priorities, Danielle found herself wanting to do something for her; as a collector of antiques, a lover of French history and romantic historical novels since her early 20’s and the technological revolution of social media, there was an opportunity realise her passion and create an online store selling antiques. “I didn’t want to get to an age and look back on my life and think I was too scared or gutless to have a go. It wasn’t a matter of what if it doesn’t succeed? what if no one buys anything? When I look in the mirror, I want to be able to look myself in the eye and know that I had the courage to bring a dream to reality.”

Her favourite films are Marie Antoinette (1938) with Norma Shearer and Tyrone Power and Gigi (1958) with French actors Louis Jourdan and Leslie Caron.
