A set of four (4) Louis XVI Style Medallion “en cabriolet” that are perfectly proportioned, comfortable and exceptionally elegant.

Painted in soft french green/grey with gilt accents, the charm of these chairs derives from their elegant silhouettes, the softness of colour along with gilt accents will complement any modern home. Extra wide width providing absolute comfort.

The carved gilt ribbons, beading and floral ornaments on the back, seat rails and arms, are all consistent with the classical decorations of the Louis XVI period. These chairs feature lovely, knotted ribbon motifs at their apex, rais-de-coeur framing the medallion back and seat rail, the arms decorated with acanthus leaves, and tapered fluted legs decorated with an acanthus rosette at the joining die.

Recently upholstered in stunning blue and gold luxury silk of exceptional quality. Frames and upholestery in exquisite condition. Perfect for use as deceorative accent chairs, or fit for purpose dining or living room chairs.
