A 19th Century Louis XVI Neoclassical Style Giltwood Fauteuil with shaped arched rectangular back and solid giltwood construction of quality craftsmanship and great style and form.
Two partially upholstered open arms are adorned with acanthus leaves on their scrolled knuckles and rest on curved supports, the fauteuil is raised on four fluted tapering legs accented with carved rosettes on the knees. Down filled shaped cushion, re-upholstered in a cream and gold silk stripe fabric whose neutral color compliments the purity of the lines beautifully.
