French Louis XV Style Bergere
c. Early 20th Century, France
A lovely large and comfortable French Louis XV Style Bergere.
Elegantly carved in European Beech as were many of the original chairs of the era.
Generous seating which was originally designed to allow ladies to sit comfortably and gracefully to spread the large skirts which were in fashion at the time.
Today it gives a very comfortable armchair. Upholstered to the highest standard.
