A lovely 18th century period French Louis XVI Duchesse Brisse (Chaise Lounge)
A cream lacquered shaped Bergère and footstool, with C-scrolled chanelling, within moulded serpentine shaped back and seat-rail. The shaped armrest with Vitruvian scrolled supports above eight (8) tapering fluted and chaneled legs on toupie feet.
Headed by flowerheads and foliate pendants upholstered in a blue silk velvet fabric.
It is such a beautiful set with graceful curved lines, the lovely soft tone of the blue silk velvet paired with the cream lacquer would compliment any interior.
Perfect to curl up on and settle in with a good book and drink of choice.
